How to use this page

This page has all the syllabus topic content that you will need to complete the required study for IPT. You will find a range of activities called a “folio”. You are required to complete all of these tasks, as they prepare you for the HSC. You are also expected to present your completed work clearly labelled and written up in a workbook to your teacher.

There are due dates displayed with folios. The Assessments details may be found here.

Your work will be completed within the Cloudshare environment, however, an important security issue exists and you are required to ONLY use your school credentials for all online use within Cloudshare or external for example Voki.

The series of YouTubes are important to view as these will present to you visual detail that you may not see in the text. Important additional content is found at the Senior Study site found here

The Introduction to Multimedia Systems

In this unit tasks are to be completed. Tasks are set in the tables within each topic. Read, provides a description, Visit provides the location of the task and Complete provides the actual task to be completed. The completion of these learning tasks is an important aspect and each completed activity needs to be recorded.

Open source and googlesites will be the main form of display.

a) Create your own igoogle account by visiting here. use your initial and family name so that others in the course will have a standard format to find your igoogle documentations. Never provide personal information about yourself in any web 2.0 tool.

b) You play an important part in your success at school. You are expected to follow set class work and to devote yourself to some independent learning time. You need to become an effective learner. This Study site has been created to assist you during your preparation for the HSC.
